Thredbo Foundation

The Thredbo Foundation is a not for profit organisation that sits in within the EVT Stretch Workplace Giving program dedicated to providing a more localised community based approach to charity within Thredbo.

It’s purpose is to enhance the community we live in, the Country we operate on and the outdoor recreation industries we play in.

The Foundation is both a philanthropic and staff workplace-giving organisation.

Thredbo Foundation

Winter 2022 | Staff Launch

Thredbo team members begin donating as the new workplace giving program.

  • Each staff member donates $10 to the Thredbo Foundation in exchange for their Winter Season Pass.
  • Year-round employees are provided with volunteer days for nominated causes.
  • Team members are invited to donate some of their salary to the Thredbo Foundation, and have the option of salary sacrificing their donation.

Winter 2023 | Public Launch

We look forward to launching Thredbo Foundation to the public with a series of fundraising events, direct donations and auctions of retired Thredbo infrastructure from Winter 2023.

More Stories From Our Community

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
